He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Hughes and Rita Hughes; and his siblings, Thomas (late Mary Jo) and James Hughes. He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Hughes, Sherry Hughes and Cynthia Madar (Robert); his grandchildren, Nicole Marquardt (Chad), Venessa Hughes, Benjamin Krencik, Nicholas Przybyciel (Eva) and Nolan Przybyciel; his great grandchildren, Rian and Samantha Marquardt; and his brother Dennis (Norma). He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home (Southtowns Chapel) (3060 Abbott Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Victory Basilica (767 Ridge Rd, Lackawanna, NY 14218).
