He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gerringer and Edna Gerringer; his grandchild Ryan Turner; and his siblings, Rose Giardini (late Frank), Carl Gerringer and Roy Gerringer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Mayne (Kevin), Cheryl Turner (Bernard) and Brenda Matson (David); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Powers (Nicholas), Ashley Pitt (Shawn), Allison Zelter (Corey), Adam Turner, Sophia Matson and Katherine Matson; his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Maxwell and Cameron; and his sister Diana Moser (late Donald). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lakeside Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. (4199 Lake Shore Rd, Hamburg, NY 14075). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
