He was predeceased by: his spouses, Ilene Fleckenstein and Kikue Fleckenstein; his stepson Joseph Napoleone; his parents, Edward Fleckenstein and Jennie Fleckenstein; and his siblings, Mary Edna Bowker, Maurice (John Fleckenstein), Dorothy Hrycik and William (Gerald Fleckenstein).
He is survived by: his child Kathlene Fleckenstein; his stepchildren, Katherine and Michael (late Kim); and his niece Mary Laflamme (Michael). He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice Buffalo or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
