He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judy M. Held; his children, Scott Held (Ashley), Tracy Malvin (Anthony) and Jim Held (Theresa); his grandchildren, James, Jonathan, Jacob, Hunter, Quinlan, Julianna and Juna; and his siblings, John Held (Barbara) and Ruth Connors (John).

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the John J. Kaczor Funeral Home, Inc. (5453 Southwestern Blvd, Hamburg, NY 14075). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lakeside Memorial Cemetery (4810 Camp Rd, Hamburg, NY 14075).
