He was predeceased by: his parents, William MacTurk and Antoinette MacTurk; and his siblings, William and Thomas MacTurk. He is survived by: his wife Sharon MacTurk; his children, Joseph MacTurk (Barbara), Jeanne Deinzer (David), Antoinette MacTurk and Michael MacTurk (Nancy); and his stepson Johnathan Glase. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jim's name to the Blind Association.
