He is survived by: his son Jason Monroe (Johanna); his sister Nancy McLeod (Bob); his former wife Edith Malpica (Michael); his pets, Bear, Honey, Strawberry, Grizzly, Cherry, Kodiak and Scar; Lemmy, Edgar and Azaelea. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in James's honor may be made to SPCA of Erie County.
