He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kaitanowski and Connie Kaitanowski; and his brother Gregory Kaitanowski. He is survived by: his wife Karen Kaitanowski; his sons, Joseph (Zeina), Nicholas (Kristina) and Luke Kaitanowski; and his grandchildren, Jamie, Alex, Anna, Ava, Pearce, Cole, Kennedy, Logan and Kyle.

In lieu of flowers, donations in John's honor may be made to Roswell Park.
