Shirley A. Smardz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley A. Smardz of Hamburg, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 10, 2025 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley A. Smardz to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas; her parent Shirley Preshoot; and her sister Judith Atzrott. She is survived by: her sons, Tommy Jr. Smardz (Traci) and Kevin Smardz; her siblings, Janet Benedict (Jack), Harriet Preshoot and Carl Preshoot (Tracy); and her grandchildren, Matthew, Emilee, Eric and Joseph. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Addison Funeral Home Inc. (262 N Main St, Angola, NY 14006). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Southtowns Christian Center (6619 Southwestern Blvd, Lake View, NY 14085).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pastor Shirley’s name to Southtowns Christian Center, where she faithfully served as a co-founding pastor.
