He was predeceased by: his siblings, Marianne Holohan (late James) and William Smolarek. He is survived by: his wife Colleen Smolarek; his children, Kristin Czechowski (Thomas), Lynn Kepner and Thomas Smolarek; and his grandchildren, Thomas, Aaron (Michelle), Mary and John. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of WNY.
