He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Stratton and Lavonne Stratton (Carter); his daughter Emma VanWuyckhuyse of Brockport; and his brothers, Duane Stratton, Darrin Stratton (Heather) of Spencerport and Daryl Stratton. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
