It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Debra Jean Horton of Hamlin, New York, who passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Vernon Maurice Cornwell and Shirley Jean Jarrell Lee; her son Chad Christopher Horton; her sister Sharron Cornwell; and her granddaughter Taylor Nicole Keesling.

She is survived by : her sons, Bruce Jacob Horton (Brittany) of Harpers Ferry, WV, Jonathan Matthew Horton (Carrie) of Hamlin, NY and Dave Allen Horton of White Post, VA; her brother Randy Cornwell; and her grandchildren, Kenslee Horton, Kennedy Horton, Kyla Horton, Josephine Boyd, Dave Allen Horton and Austin Rickard. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Hildebrandt Hospice Center, 2652 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626 or to Shannondale Springs Chapel, 3868 Mission Rd., Harpers Ferry, WV 25425.
