He is survived by: his wife Alice (Ashbery); his sons, James (Amy), Christopher and Charles; his grandchildren, Ethan Richardson (Lydia), Molly Sudore (Thomas), Lee Richardson and Katie Henion (Connor); his great grandchildren, Rebekah and Rose; his siblings, Arlene and Richard; and his sisters-in-law, Amy Ashbery and Marilyn Ashbery. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
