He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hankinson and Lena Hankinson; his daughter Pamela Hankinson; and his sister Lois Corbit. He is survived by: his wife Leona Hankinson; his children, Marvin Hankinson, Jr. (Diane), Holley Hankinson, NovaLee Ladue (Roy), Garth Hankinson (Gwyn) and Chad Hankinson (Farida Jalalzai); and his nephew Brian Corbit. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, & dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hamlin Lions PO Box 91, Hamlin, NY 14464 or Rhett Syndrome Foundation 4500 Cooper Rd, Suite 204, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242 in Marv's memory.
