We bid farewell to Mary Jane Smith of Hamlin, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 16, 2025 at the age of 95. Mary Jane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Edward and Mary Ann Chappell Smith; her husband Warren Jack "Smitty" Smith; and her sons, Michael K. Smith and Anthony S. "Tony" Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Smith, Jack Smith, Donald Smith (Debbie), Margaret Steen (late David), Kate Howard (Buddy) and Georgette McChesney (Greg).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lind Funeral Home (805 W 3rd St, Jamestown, NY 14701). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice or to the VA.
