He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Evans and Ella Evans (Havens); and his parents-in-law, Homer and Leola Chapin. He is survived by: his wife Linda Evans; his daughter Ellen (David); his friends, Nola Forjone (Dave) of Hammond and David Evans (Misty) of Hammond; and his sister Beverly Backus (Bill) of Cary, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frary Funeral Home (515 Caroline St, Ogdensburg, NY 13669). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM.
