He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Zimmerman and Esther Zimmerman (Nichols); his brother Theodore "Elmer" Zimmerman; his siblings-in-law, Judy Zimmerman and Edward Brown; his sibling's children, Corina Peters and Brian Brown; his son-in-law Donald Weaver Jr.; and his great grandchild Anessa Chancio.
He is survived by: his siblings, Michael Zimmerman (Phyllis) and Patricia Brown (Cookie); his children, Christine, Robert Sullivan, Terry Zimmerman, Marcia Martin, Tammy Weaver and Rodney Zimmerman (Christie); and his grandchildren, Johnnie Peters (Danielle), Christina Peters, Kathy Peters, Michael Sullivan (Emma), Joey Sullivan (Kristen), Brooke Zimmerman, Tanner Zimmerman, Eddie Martin Jr., Dania Martin, Alina Martin, Tiara Quant (Nick), Haley Weaver, Kadence Weaver, Dylan Storrs (Stephanie), Brittany Storrs (Christopher Sagerman) and Logan Zimmerman. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bishop & DeSanto Funeral Home - Hammondsport (35 Main St, Hammondsport, NY 14840). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
