It is with sadness that the passing of Joan M. (Husted) Stone of Hammondsport, New York is shared. Joan, born on October 12, 1934 in Bath, New York, passed away on August 23, 2026. Joan will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She was predeceased by: her mother Louise C. Husted (Fenton (Bill) Stone); her daughter Charmaine L. DeMay; and her siblings, Charles Husted, Nancy Railsback (Husted) and Rose Marie Forton (Husted).
She is survived by: her sisters, Janet M. Ferree and Leah Nichiporuk (James) of Hammondsport; her son-in-law Patrice DeMay; and her caregiver Becky. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bishop & DeSanto Funeral Home (35 Main St, Hammondsport, NY 14840).
