We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2023, at the age of 88, Katherine I. Wise of Hammondsport, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Norman H. Schneider and Elizabeth I. Schneider (Allen); her husband DeMerle; her granddaughter Acacia Wise; her great grandchild Faith Pruett; and her siblings, Noreen Lindsey, Anne Hamilton, John Schneider, Mike Schneider, Frank Schneider, Ed Schneider and Mary Weber.
She is survived by : her children, Joe Wise (Toni) of Pittsfield, IL, Cathy Azzi (Greg) of Cohocton, Margie Adams (Bob) of Wayland and Andy Wise (Terri) of Hammondsport; her siblings, Dorothy Reinhard of Kane, PA, Jean Recktenwald (Tom) of Wayland, James Schneider (Leslie) and Elaine Davis (James) of Elkland, PA; and her sister-in-law Margaret Schwingle (Richard). She is also survived by her nephew that was like a son to her, Randy Hamilton of Cohocton; 14 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren.
