She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Faling and Grace Faling; and her sister Barbara McGraw. She is survived by: her husband Van C. Peters II; her children, Laura Wilson (Pat), Karen Ishitani (Michael), Priscilla Duda (Brian) and Van Peters (Sherry); her grandchildren, Caroline Solt (Jeff), Patrick Wilson (Fatima), Catherine Ishitani, Henry Ishitani (Alex), Tyler Duda (Erika), Nathan and Connor Duda; and her great grandchildren, Ericka, Parker, Deleyza, Emmerson, Reagan and Patrick.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Emory United Methodist Church (89 E Main St, Hancock, NY 13783). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
