Peter John Ambrose Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter J. Ambrose and Jean E. Ambrose; his stepson Billy Freund, Jr.; his sister Christine McKeon (John); and his nephew Matthew McKeon.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela E. Ambrose; his child Garrick M. Ambrose (Meghan Folsom); his grandchildren, Walker F. Ambrose, Lexie Leigh Freund and Larson William Freund; his siblings, Elizabeth Simons (David), James Ambrose (Karen) and Kathryn Bonomo (Thomas); his daughter-in-law Susan A. Freund; and his siblings' children, James McKeon, Joseph, Emily Simons, Kimberly Stacy, Michael, Kelley, Jack Ambrose, Alexandra, Margot, Thomas, Jacqueline and Christina Bonomo.
The artist was the recipient of two National Endowment for the Arts, a Pollock Krasner Foundation Grant and a New York Experimental Glass Workshop grant, the last giving him an opportunity to work with casting crystal in large sculptural elements.
