It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Carter of Hannibal, New York, born in Phoenix, New York, who passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Brown and Pauline Brown (Johnson); her former life partner George Pelton; her husband Floyd Carter; and her close friend Gene Miles.

She is survived by : her children, Brian Pelton and Sherry Pelton; and her granddaughters, Alicia, Carolyn, Amanda and Jacqueline. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
