It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria P. Kent of Hannibal, New York, who passed away on January 20, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gioacchino Ascenzi and Elisa Ascenzi. She is survived by: her husband Fred; her children, Frederick Kent III (Elizabeth) and Stephanie Zimmerman (Albert); her grandchildren, Lena and Ellie; and her siblings, Joseph (Cheryl), Robert (Marian), Dante (Donna), John (Karell), Amelia Iaboni (Joe) of Italy and Assunta Lisi (Joe) of Toronto, Canada. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and very good friends.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Our Lady of the Rosary Church's Resource Center or to the Hannibal Free Library in Maria's name.
