She was predeceased by : her parents, James VanHorn and Anna VanHorn (Smart); her husband William; her daughter Ann Lambert-Nelson; her siblings, James, Beatrice and Gwendolyn; and her brother-in-law George Engle.

She is survived by : her daughter Rose Pitcher (Douglas); her granddaughter Heather Ladd (Michael Simmons); her great grandchild Kailey Cappelletti; and her siblings, Sam VanHorn (Pat), Charles VanHorn, Robert VanHorn and Jean Martin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hannibal Village Cemetery.
