We announce the death of Louise G. Tumm in Harrison, New York, who passed away on July 22, 2026, at the age of 97. Louise will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Louise will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Louise will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Louise’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Caroline Aiello and Frank Aiello; and her husband Walter Tumm Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Walter Tumm Jr. of Aiken, SC, Michael Tumm (Linda) of Prosperity, SC, William Tumm (Nancy) of Mamaroneck, NY and Frank Tumm (Jill) of Bluffton, SC.. She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Memory Matters of Hilton Head in Louise's honor.
