He was predeceased by: his son Michael LaVancha; his grandson Dylan Richards; his great grandchild Liam Warvel; his siblings, Leroy LaVancha and Dawn LaVancha; and his parents, Everett LaVancha and Harriett Dastouch LaVancha.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary LaVancha; his children, David LaVancha (Michelle) of Harrisville, Jessie Burns (Jesse) of Harrisville, Darek LaVancha (Jean) of Harrisville and Aaron Hubbard of Potsdam; his grandchildren, Brooke Hughto (Josh), Philip LaVancha, Morgan Finley, Dylan Finley (Sarah), Breyanna Warvel (Nick), Gavin, Burns Conner Burns, Elaine LaVancha, Ethan LaVancha and Mack Turturro; his great grandchildren, Ashton Hughto, Layton Hughto and Emma Warvel; and his siblings, Floyd LaVancha, Lloyd LaVancha and Blanche Trainham (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Harrisville Fire Hall (14226 Church St, Harrisville, NY 13648).
