Robert James Stein Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert James Stein (Hartsdale, New York), born in Berkeley, California, who passed away on February 5, 2026 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Robert departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Robert leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Burnham Stein and James Francis Stein; and his brother Gary Crawford Stein. He is survived by: his daughter Pamela Stein Lynde (Michael); and his granddaughters, Rachel and Willow.
