He is survived by : his mother Arlene Platt; his son Justin Carpenter; his siblings, Robin (Carpenter), Peter Buda, Teresa Carpenter, Robert and Lori Carpenter; his stepfather Ivan Stanton; his stepsiblings, Leo Stanton, Les, Maggie Stanton, Paula and Gary Hayden; his uncle Walter (Diane Platt); and the mother of his child Yvonne Hickey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
