He was loved and cherished by many people including : his close friend Diane Gorman; his children, Gina Starstrom (Jeff), Peter DeCaprio (Adrianne), John DeCaprio Jr. (Sallie) and Phyllis Rafferty (Peter); his grandchildren, Michael (Marina), Megan (Michael), Ryan (Megan), Andrew (Evelyn), Amanda, Madison, Sydnie, Isabella, Jace, Petey and Scarlett; his great grandchildren, Melody, Mason, Lily, Leo and Adeline; and his siblings, Rosemarie (Donald), Tom and Susan.
