She was predeceased by: her parents, Edilio Aurelio Veras and Maria Ramona DeLaCruz; her husband Marino Antonio Lopez; and her siblings, Paulina, Jose, Lucia, Dolores, Rita, Dimas, Victor and Sorgi.
She is survived by: her brothers, Edilio and Alvaro; her children, Luz (Bryant), Elbi (Xiomara), James (Miguelina), Ramon (Carmen), Jorge (Tamara), Ramona (Samuel), Angel (Dorota), Jose (Maria) and Cerafina (Alberto); her grandchildren, Ivonne, David, Adrian, Nicholas, Melissa, Christina, George Joel, Daniel, Andy, Cynthia, Mathew, Ariana, Emily, Isabella, Christian and Angel; and her great grandchildren, Isla, Eric, Joshua, Olivia and Sofia.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the T. J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home (133 Broadway, Haverstraw, NY 10927). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Repose Cemetery.
