Edith Goodman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2025, at the age of 92, Edith Goodman (Hawthorne, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tillie Stark and Sidney Stark; her husband Allen Goodman; and her daughter Joanne. She is survived by: her son Bill Goodman (Eva); her grandchildren, Steven Sherman (Lisa), Traci Cohen (Brendon), Keith Goodman (Sara Kratzok), Taryn Chambrovich (Jeff), Mark Goodman (Elyssa Wright), Michael Zaiss (Caroline Student) and Zoe Zaiss (Kenny Bourgon); and her great grandchildren, Maxx (Anthony), Alexa, Andrew, Jacob, Benjamin, Jace, Levi, Tyler and Giordan.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at the Riverside Memorial Chapel (100 Saw Mill River Rd, Hawthorne, NY 10532).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Temple Beth El in City Island, NY, where Edy and Allen were proud founding members and devoted supporters throughout their lives.
