“Murray and I met Joanie and granddaughter Anna 2003 in Umbria, Italy on a WBGO sponsored jazz trip. The group stayed in contact and made NYC our playground. When the group meet ups dwindled, Murray and I continued theater, jazz and lunches. When Murray could no longer do the travel, now 93, Joan and I met for lots of theater. Of recent she made me feel more special traveling to NYC via car service to lunch and share our life experiences. She will stay close to my heart!”
