She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Mernik and Ruth Mernik; and her brother Joseph. She is survived by: her son Mike (Caryn); her grandchildren, Emily, Logan and Julia; her great grandchild Cassidy; and her former husband John.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made in her name to Mid-Hudson Animal Aid at 54 Simmons Lane, Beacon, NY 12508.
