She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnes Koss and Teddy Koss; her brother Barry Koss; and her husband Mel Kurtz. She is survived by: her children, Hartsdale, Lisa Hatem, Jill Kurtz and Glenn Kurtz; her children-in-law, Linda Kurtz and Peter Hatem; and her grandchildren, Jessica Lanman (Adam), Tyler Hatem (Hannah) and Kevin Kurtz. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grand nephews and their children.
A committal service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery (80 Commerce St, Hawthorne, NY 10532). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery (80 Commerce St, Hawthorne, NY 10532).
