Betty Bond Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil H. Watkins and Barbara J. Watkins (Hoerner); her husband James H. Bond Jr. of Hector; her birth parents, Cecil and Barbara Watkins; her adoptive parents, Kenneth Mapes (Shirley M. Mapes) and Shirley Mapes; and her siblings, Donna Swope, Linda Mutro, Vicky Presley and Joseph Watkins.

She is survived by: her boyfriend John Munroe of Hector, NY.; her children, James H. Bond (Debbra), Jennifer L. Burris-Bond (Joel) of Watkins Glen, NY and Betty Jo Palmer of Groton, NY; and her siblings, Jeanne Yarussi (Eugene) of Ithaca, NY, Patricia Laughlin (Robert) of Ruther Glen, VA, Vera "Punky" Jennings of Florida, Karen Randall (Jody) of Sanford, NC, Lois Jean "Pixie" Salberg (Gary) of Moravia, NY, Lisa Matsumoto (Cal) of Washington, DC, Kenneth J. Mapes Jr. (Margaret) of Rochester, NY and Ronald Watkins of Texas.

Betty has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Hector Playground Project or to The Valois-Logan-Hector Fire Department.
