Evangelos Apolonatos Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evangelos Apolonatos (Hempstead, New York), who passed away on October 25, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Evangelos leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Evangelos may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his wife Irene; his children, Steve (Irene Apolonatos) and Zoe (Spiro Antonopoulos); and his grandchildren, Eleni, Evangelina, Irene and Evangelos.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Cathedral (110 Cathedral Ave, Hempstead, NY 11550). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
