She was predeceased by: her children, Denise Smith, David Scanio and Thomas Makielski; her siblings, Mary Shaughnessy and John Boyer; her sister-in-law Lisa Boyer; and her close friend Joan Calabucci.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Marie Ortiz-Guzman (Jaime), Lisa Rizzo (Amir), George Smith (Katie) and Angela Martin (Dave); her great grandchildren, Anna, Diego, Elise, Mario Guzman, Ava and Brady Martin; her siblings, Kathryn Boyer and Ross Boyer; and her close friends, Joyce Bass, Kristina Boyle (Joe) and Chris Zaffuto.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Faith Baptist Church (860 Hook Rd, Farmington, NY 14425).
