He was predeceased by: his parents, John Coons and Genevive Coons. He is survived by: his wife Carmen Coons; his sons, Christopher Coons (Cassie) and John Coons; and his siblings, John Coons (Karen) and Christine Cummings (Michael). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. (3325 S Winton Rd, Rochester, NY 14623). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Marianne Cope Parish at Guardian Angels Church (2061 E Henrietta Rd, Henrietta, NY 14623).
