It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Knop of Herkimer, New York, who passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Charles departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Charles leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Knop and Anna Knop (Sivacek); and his sisters, Beverly Urich and Elizabeth McCaw. He is survived by: his wife Sandra J. DeMartine; his son Kevin Knop; and his brother-in-law Robert DeMartine (Sandy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A reception will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A prayer will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM.
