He is survived by: his children, Edward Briggs, Jr. (Tonya) of Herkimer, Daniel Briggs (Wendy Rizza) of Herkimer, Laurie Waterbury, Edna Briggs and Brenda Briggs (April); his sister Betty Johnson; and his grandchildren, Alisha, Samantha, Rebecca, Carl, Jennifer, Leanne, Daniel, Justin, Eric, Tiffany and Duane. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
