With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth C. Spellman of Herkimer, New York, who passed away on July 24, 2025 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Beswick and Beatrice Beswick (Waldvogel). She is survived by: her children, Steven Adamek (Stephanie) of Barrington, RI, Sheila Steere of Deerfield, NY, Jason Adamek (Lisa) of Herkimer, NY and Christopher Spellman (Leeanne) of Newport, NY; her sister Barbara Bigney; her grandchildren, Daniel, Morgan, Mackenzie, Erin, Madesen, Beatrice, Denten, Colin, Logen and Vivian; and her great grandchildren, Adley and Brynlee. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends and a special feline companion Buddy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fenner Funeral Home (115 Court St, Herkimer, NY 13350). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church (588 Albany St, Little Falls, NY 13365).
