Joanne Collins Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Joanne Collins of Herkimer, New York. Joanne, born on December 16, 1936, passed away on June 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Loefler and Margaret Loefler (Wheeler); her husband Edward Collins; her son-in-law Louis Maida; and her sister-in-law Wanda Loefler.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kim Maida (Louis Maida), Barbara Collins and Lynda Diehl (Shayne); her grandchildren, Leanne Maida (Erik Seiler), Joey Maida (Molly), Marcus Galeotti, Caitlyn Diehl and Joshua Diehl (Holland); her great grandchildren, Daniel, Maddison, Nicholas Seiler, Mila and Vivian Maida; her siblings, Colleen Loefler (Rich Empie) and Robert Loefler; and her close friend Sandy Cimek (David). She is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
