He was predeceased by : his parents, John B. Cain and Sophia F. Cain (Pitfido). He is survived by : his wife Mary Ellen Dorritie (Mame); his son John Patrick Cain of Kentucky; his siblings, Sarah Kelly Falk Waterville (Joseph) and Dennis P. Cain (Cathy); his goddaughter Jessica A. Desany (Christopher); and his nephews, Michael J. Falk (Debbie) and Brian P. Falk (Rebecca). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great niece, great nephews, cousins and marvelous friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
