He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Downing and Frances Downing (Dane); his brother Gary Downing; his sister-in-law Judy Garrison; and his niece Sandra Downing.
He is survived by: his wife Debora J. Garrison; his daughters, Stacey (Scott) of Richville, NY, Colleen (Thomas) of Massena, NY and Kristy (Juan) of Virginia Beach, VA.; his niece Jodi Upshaw (Fred) of New Mexico; and his grandchildren, Brooke, Dia, Paige, Kaitlyn and Sophia. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Frary Funeral Home (515 Caroline St, Ogdensburg, NY 13669). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heuvelton Fire Department.
