We announce the death of Richard A Stone of Heuvelton, New York, born in Potsdam, New York, who passed away on July 28, 2026, at the age of 61. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Stone. He is survived by: his close friend Sheila Jordan; his daughters, Courtney Chudzinski, Samantha Emerson (Dylan) and Natalie Stone; his grandchildren, Camdon, Rylin, Jackson, Everleigh and Charlotte; his father Henry Stone; and his siblings, Susan Centola (Ronald), Laura Reff (Michael), Steven Stone (Robin), Billy Stone (Paula), Michael Stone (Belinda), Timothy Stone (Emily) and Henry Stone (Michele). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and countless friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley in appreciation for the compassionate care they provided to Richard and his family.
