He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louise Mukamal and Isaac Sassoon Mukamal; his wife Arlene; his children, Ken (Gale Fiarman), Debbie and Heidi (Gil Koresh); his grandchildren, Alexander, Will, Isaac, Zoe, Devin and Sasha; and his siblings, Ronald, Joseph, Edmond Mukamal and Lila.
His early career at Dupont was noteworthy for his contributions to the development of bullet-proof fibers like Kevlar, but his expertise in coatings, rubber, and plastics appeared in an incredible array of products, including photochromic lenses that darken in sunlight, military jet windshields, and automobile tires.
