He is survived by: his daughters, Eileen Hayes (Pierce), Maureen A. Connolly, Geraldine S. Connolly (John Sporing) and Sheila A. Douglas (Jim); and his grandchildren, Deirdre Redding (Brian), Daniel P. Hayes (Tara), Brian P. Hayes (Erica), Moira Rachel (Alex), Patrick P. Hayes (Melissa), Brendan P. Hayes (Kathryn), Kate Connolly, Kelly Douglas, Cara Stern (Ryan), Jack Douglas, Hannah Connolly-Sporing, Annie Connolly-Sporing and Patricia Douglas. He is also survived by his 21 great-grandchildren.
