She was predeceased by : her husband Joseph; her son James Gries; and her siblings, Rose McGeever, Frances and Louis Caruso.

She is survived by : her daughter Cheryl Brown (Clinton); her grandsons, Clinton Brown III (Sofiya) and Gregory Nichols; her great grandchild Logan James; and her brother Michael Caruso. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Donations could be made in lieu Flowers.
