With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence O'Hara of Hicksville, New York, born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on September 19, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Florence shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Florence farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack; and her children, Geralyn and John (Connie). She is survived by: her children, Susan (Paul Prygocki) and Gerard (Maureen); and her great grandchildren, Sadie, Regan, Jack and James.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Homes - Hicksville (47 Jerusalem Ave, Hicksville, NY 11801). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the St. Paul the Apostle R. C. Church.
