He was loved and cherished by many people including: his adoptive father Fred Cusick; his siblings, Fred Cusick and Betty Cusick Mayo; his wife Marilyn Simpson Cusick; his daughter Susan Cusick-Carpenter; his son-in-law Jeff Carpenter; his grandson Matthew Carpenter; his great grandchildren, Isabella and Charlotte; and his grandson Evan Carpenter (Alyssa). He was also cherished by his nieces and nephews.
