He is survived by: his wife Lucinda Lanier; his children, Samuel Lanier (Melissa) and LaQuanda Brown (late John); and his grandchildren, Amanda Bashant, Kenton Brown, Cerrone Hemingway, Kaleb Brown, Christopher Lanier, Kevin Brown, Samantha Lanier and Jordan Lanier. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and friends.
